Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – June 12, 2026 – LOTTE Ventures proudly participated as a Co-host of Venture Forum 2026, alongside VinVentures, Impact Square, and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology. The forum brought together more than 500 investors, corporate executives, technology leaders, startups, and ecosystem partners from across Asia to discuss the future of mergers & acquisitions (M&A), private capital, and innovation in Vietnam.
As the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) arm of LOTTE Group, LOTTE Ventures joined the forum to strengthen collaboration between Vietnam’s startup ecosystem and global corporations, while reaffirming its long-term commitment to Open Innovation and startup investment in Vietnam.
LOTTE Ventures at Venture Forum 2026
During the event, Mr. Jun Sung Bae, Executive Director and Head of Investment Division at LOTTE Ventures, delivered the Opening Remarks and later joined one of the forum’s panel discussions alongside leading investors and industry experts from across the region.
In his opening speech, Mr. Bae shared LOTTE Ventures’ confidence in Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem:
“Vietnam has emerged as one of the most promising startup markets in Southeast Asia. What impresses us most is not simply the speed of growth, but the strong execution capability, entrepreneurial spirit, and determination of Vietnamese founders to solve real-world problems.”
He emphasized that sustainable innovation is built through collaboration among startups, corporations, investors, and ecosystem partners. LOTTE Ventures believes that by connecting Vietnamese startups with the business platforms of LOTTE Group, meaningful innovation and long-term business partnerships can be created.
Introducing L-CAMP Vietnam
A key highlight shared during the forum was L-CAMP Vietnam, LOTTE Ventures’ flagship Open Innovation program in Vietnam.
Unlike traditional accelerator programs, L-CAMP Vietnam focuses on Proof-of-Concept (PoC) collaboration, enabling startups to work directly with LOTTE Group companies to validate technologies, solve real business challenges, and create commercial opportunities.
Through L-CAMP Vietnam, LOTTE Ventures aims to connect high-potential Vietnamese startups with more than 25 LOTTE Group companies operating in Vietnam across retail, food & beverage, hospitality, logistics, construction, e-commerce, and digital services.
